A quiet street in Sienna on a summer evening. The warm ochres and sienna's that I used in this painting contributed to the general atmosphere of the Italian scene. The light in Italy is a pure, warm and glowing light and it can be wonderfully gratifying to produce this kind of inviting scene. This is yet another in the"Woman Alone" series.
